ONR posts C4ISR RFP
On August 26, the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) issued a Request For Proposal (RFP) for research and development titled Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Systems Design and Development. Proposals are due by 3:00 p.m. Central on October 10.
The requirement includes advanced research and development for scientific, technical and engineering efforts associated with the development and integration of C4ISR Systems. The performance required under this action is Government specific and is includes non-commercial development, integration and support of developmental responsibilities across the entire space/ground spectrum of hardware, software and advanced technologies including digital processing and control analog systems, power, communications, command and telemetry, radio frequency, optical, payload and electromechanical systems, as well as systems engineering.
The anticipated level of effort involved will be a mix of labor categories, to include key personnel, equaling 592,250 labor hours over a five-year period: 118,450 labor hours for the base year; 118,450 for Option 1; 118,450 for Option 2; 118,450 for Option 3; and 118,450 for Option 4. The product service code assigned for this effort is AR23: R&D: Space Sciences/Applications (Advanced Development).
