Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence posts sources sought notice

On December 16, the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence issued the following sources sought notice (Solicitation Number: HQ0034-16-R-0000). Capability statements are due lo later than 1:00 pm EST on December 27.

The Washington Headquarters Services Acquisition Directorate, is issuing this sources sought as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for operational support. Operational support will be provided to the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence (OUSD(I) in the areas relating to system improvements, system maintenance, system conversion, data collection, data correction, data restoration, data access and display, data comparison, report generation, and documentation.

The contractor must design, implement and maintain supporting financial applications, maintain the Hyperion Query software (or similar query software), design and maintain the web portals, post required data to the web portal, and perform tasks required to ensure operation and functionality of the Budget and Intelligence Related Database (BIRD) System. The BIRD system is the primary tool in producing the Congressional Justification Book (CJB). Additionally, contractors must have facilities that are cleared at the Top Secret level.

The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement.
