ODNI releases 2020 National Intelligence Program budget figure

Congress appropriated an aggregate amount of $62.7 billion to the National Intelligence Program (NIP) for Fiscal Year 2020. This amount includes funding to support overseas contingency operations the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) announced October 21.
The Director of National Intelligence (DNI) disclosed this amount consistent with 50 U.S.C. 3306(b) not later than 30 days after the end of the fiscal year.
Beyond the disclosure of the NIP top-line figure, there will be no other disclosures of currently classified NIP budget information. The only exceptions to the foregoing are for unclassified appropriations, primarily for the Intelligence Community Management Account.
