NRO announces lift off of NROL-37

A National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) payload was launched successfully aboard a United Launch Alliance Delta IV Heavy rocket from Space Launch Complex 37-B, Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (CCAFS), FL, at 1:51 p.m. EDT, on June 11, 2016.
“This afternoon’s launch of NROL-37 culminates years of hard work. I am extremely proud of our dedicated NRO team and applaud them and all mission partners for their commitment to our nation’s national security,” said Colonel Clint Hunt, USAF, Director, NRO Office of Space Launch.
NROL-37 is the second of four 2016 NRO launches. The next NRO launch is on schedule for July 2016, also from CCAFS.
