Northrop Grumman names Eric Scholten VP and controller for Aerospace Systems sector
Northrop Grumman Corporation of Falls Church, VA announced on September 14 that it has appointed Eric Scholten, vice president and controller for the company’s Aerospace Systems sector.
In his new role, Scholten will be responsible for financial planning and analysis; financial reporting and accounting; budgets, rates and overhead management; government relations and compliance; resource management; and property administration for the sector. He will report to Sunil Navale, vice president, business management and chief financial officer of Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems.
Scholten joined the company in 2005 and has held a number of leadership positions in business management at the company’s Aerospace Systems sector and at Northrop Grumman’s corporate headquarters. He currently serves as director of business management where he is responsible for financial and business administration activities for strategic and technology business programs. Prior to joining Northrop Grumman, he held a variety of engineering positions at other aerospace companies.
Scholten earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara, a master’s degree in aeronautical and astronautical engineering from Stanford University and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Southern California. He serves on the board of directors of the Northrop Grumman Federal Credit Union.
