NGA wants help establishing a Software Gold Copy Library
The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) is gathering information from prospective contractors who could help establish a software repository at the agency under a future Blanket Purchase Agreement that could be worth $30 – $50 million.
“NGA has a mission-critical need for obtaining required software from the manufacturers (see attachment); the establishment and maintenance of a SAM [software asset management] Data Repository containing a Software Gold Copy Library and the Software artifacts; and the management support to the SAM of that depository,” explains an RFI issued by NGA on May 14.
Interested parties are asked to reply to the FRI by June 4.
The blanket purchase agreement might be issued under the GSA FSC Group 70 Multiple Award Schedule program, says the NGA notice.
