NGA seeks regional content manager support

On December 20, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) issued a request for information (RFI) for regional content managers. All questions related to the RFI are due back to the agency NLT 19 Jan 2024. Responses are due by 10:00 a.m. Central on February 2.

NGA in support of the GEOINT Information Office (ST) is seeking information on how an interested contractor could provide Regional Content Managers (RCM) to facilitate the dissemination of GEOINT foundation data to Combatant Commands (CCMDs) specifically to increase their ability to operate in a Denied, Degraded, Intermittent, and Latent (DDIL) environments. The Regional Content Managers will act as a dissemination resource of GEOINT foundation data to disparate data repositories to CCMD’s in Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside Continental United States (OCONUS).

The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to probe industry to identify interested sources and to gain information on practices and capabilities that could increase efficiencies for NGA’s RCM requirements.

NGA has a mission-critical need for Regional Content Managers with proven experience in the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense and NGA with a working knowledge of Source Foundation products and data, experience utilizing a variety of Geographic Information System (GIS) tools, an understanding of data formats and basic knowledge of databases to accomplish the mission. Contract personnel will be required to work CONUS and OCONUS.
