On February 28, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) posted a request for information (RFI) for Organizational Messaging (OM) switching (software and Professional Services support) services for NGA’s messaging mission. Responses are due by March 28, according to SAM.gov.
The contractor will provide OM switching (software and Professional Services support) services for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) messaging mission. This includes connectivity to Department of Defense and Intelligence Community partners, allowing analysts to draft, coordinate and release information in all three OM formats (ITS/Information Transport Service, GENSER/General Service and DSSCS/Defense Special Security Communications System), create and manage profiles, perform a retrospective search/query of the entirety, current and historical, of OM holdings.
Analysts can specify e-mail delivery of any information matching the terms of a profile or query at the TOP SECRET//HCS/SI-G/KLM/TK level. All classified work shall be performed at an NGA facility.
The intent is for industry to share their experiences with similar efforts and to provide comments and suggestions on providing NGA the required services. The Government plans to use the information provided by industry to develop a comprehensive procurement strategy.
