On May 9, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) issued a request for information (RFI) for image manipulator software. Responses are due by 5:00 p.m. Eastern on June 8.
NGA in support of the Source Dissemination (ST) branch is seeking information on how a Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) solution for a final quality control process for geospatial products, ensuring printability on designated plotters before release. The purpose of this RFI is to identify vendors capable of satisfying NGA’s requirement and assess potential solutions to fulfill the quality control process for NGA’s geospatial products within ST.
NGA has a mission-critical need for a final quality control process for its geospatial products, ensuring printability on designated plotters before release. This involves file formatting, conversion, and validation against military specifications (MIL-SPEC).
NGA is willing to accept partial completion of the below requirements, as in a system that handles Image Manipulation, a separate one for Workflow Management, etc. The goal is for an all-in-one solution. However, there must be a path for NGA to fulfill all of the requirements listed through any partial suggestions. NGA is also requesting that the systems be either Windows-based or Cloud Applications. This system must be ready on day 1, no development work necessary.
