On December 12, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) released a request for information (RFI) for a Source Content Dissemination Services System (SCDS). Responses are due by 12:00 p.m. Eastern on January 9.
NGA issued this RFI to find interested contractors to:
- Provide Operations and Maintenance (O&M) support to a system and network that has the ability to ingest Foundation GEOINT products and data, tag metadata, catalog, and disseminate those products.
- Organize their team to conduct modernization, patching, adaptive/corrective maintenance, maintain Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), conduct tech refreshes and patches.
- Expand functionality of the system to potentially replace and realign workflows to optimize and automate large bulk orders. May also require expansion of functionality to ingest, condition and provide for discoverability and dissemination for NGA product lines.
