NGA posts RFP for PostGIS and PostgreSQL support services
On January 7, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency released a solicitation for support services for PostGIS and PostgreSQL open source software (Solicitation Number: HM1575-16-R-0002). Proposals are due by 10AM CT on January 19, 2016. Questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted via e-mail by 10AM CT on January 12, 2016.
The National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA) has a requirement for subject matter experts and tradecraft expertise to support the download, installation, configuration, and tuning, for spatial data service architecture utilizing PostGIS and PostgreSQL.
During the period of performance (PoP), the Contractor shall support NGA personnel and systems to enable, enhance, build, provision, and deploy secure spatial data and associated web services in NGA. Specifically, the Contractor shall provide PostGIS and PostgreSQL software, installation, optimization and associated architectural recommendations along with the required enterprise support.
