https://www.fbo.gov/notices/7118ef5966bd6b45d2265e952f43ea37The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) is seeking a strategic solution that would more efficiently bring earth observation product buyers and suppliers together in order to exchange goods and services. To this end, NGA established a collaborative working partnership with the General Services Administration (GSA) to develop a shared solution that acts in creative ways to tap into the emerging commercial earth observation market. Through this cooperative partnership, GSA and NGA have formulated plans to develop the community of suppliers (COS) and provide an automated delivery mechanism between the Earth Observation Community of Interest (COI) and suppliers. In an effort to better understand the market, GSA is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to gain better understanding of the commercial practices and capabilities of companies that are able to provide these services.
The associated Statement of Objectives (SOO), documents the requirements for development, operation, and maintenance of the Commercial Unclassified Business Environment (CUBE). It will operationalize earth observation acquisition capabilities by providing an automated, quick cycle platform to access mission essential commercial products, marketplace business and quality intelligence, and maximize reuse of purchased products.
All interested parties must submit their responses to GSA no later than 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time, Wednesday, November 22, 2017. For consistency, respondents are instructed to thoroughly review the GSA-RFI instructions and respond to the GSA Acquisition Team accordingly.
