NGA posts draft RFP for mentor protégé program

On April 20, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency posted a draft request for proposal for its Mentor Protégé Program (Solicitation Number: HM047618R0034).

This notice is not a request for proposal or solicitation of Offerors.

The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) Mentor-Protégé Program through the Office of the Secretary of Defense helps eligible small businesses develop qualifications and abilities to compete for prime contract and subcontract awards. The small businesses (protégés) partner with large businesses (mentors) to establish project-based agreements designed to meet NGA mission requirements. A broad range of industries are represented in the NGA MPP including: manufacturing, information technology systems, engineering/consulting services, environmental services, and cyber Security.

A complete description of the DoD program and eligibility requirements is provided in Appendix I of the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).

The following DRAFT solicitation is issued in order to provide industry with an advance version and to obtain meaningful feedback from interested parties. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available.  Other methods of requesting a package will not be honored.

All questions shall be submitted in writing.  Questions will not be answered via telephone and/or email.  All questions and comments/feedback regarding the draft solicitation must be submitted by Friday May 4, 2018 at 12:00PM ET.
