NGA posts Digital Facility Management RFI
On November 2, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) issued a request for information (RFI) for Digital Facility Management Solutions. Responses are due by 5:00 p.m. Eastern on December 2.
NGA in support of the Security and Installation Directorate (SI) is seeking information on how an interested contractor could provide advanced Facility Management (FM) technological support in Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD), Building Information Modeling (BIM), Integrated Workplace Management Systems (IWMS), and/or Geospatial Information System (GIS).
NGA strives to be a service‐driven and proactive by using the latest FM industry technological solutions to manage NGA’s physical assets in the areas of real estate management, project management, maintenance and grounds, strategic space management, and energy management. NGA seeks to learn from industry‐leaders and qualified vendors/consultants as to how to go about bringing in their facility management-based technological solutions, services, and expertise to best manage NGA facilities.
The purpose of this RFI is to gain information on current Industry practices and receive guidance from interested contractors on how best to formulate a contract(s) to effectively receive consultation and service support for CAD, BIM, IWMS, and/or GIS solutions.
