NGA posts content services RFI

On May 18, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency posted a request for information for sustainment for content services (SCS). Responses are due by 1:00 p.m. Eastern on June 7.

The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) maintains a set of mission critical and mission essential legacy software systems, applications, and databases that constitute the web-based GEOINT content capability for the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG). These software systems, applications, and databases include Active Earthscape (AE), Aeronautical Content Exploitation System (ACES), Consolidated Surface Production Environment (CSPE), GeoNames, Navigation Safety System (NSS), Geodesy and Geophysical Enhanced Product System (GGEPS)-Earth, Global Navigation Satellite System – Earth Orientation Prediction Parameters (GNSS- EOPP), and Geodetic Survey Systems – Handheld GEOINT Surveys (GSS-HGS).

The Sustainment for Content Services (SCS) Contract will provide the required sustainment support for these systems and applications (software and databases) until they can be retired or otherwise dispositioned. NGA intends to solicit and award a single award contract with services beginning in the first quarter of Fiscal Year 2019. The draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Estimated Workload Model are attached.

The draft documents provided for this Request for Information (RFI) are issued solely for information and planning purposes, it does not constitute an RFP or promise to issue an RFP in the future. The RFI does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service. Further, NGA is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party’s expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued.
