NGA posts Cat B nautical cartography program RFI

On June 28, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) posted a sources sought notice for the Category B (CAT B or Cat B) Nautical Cartography Program. Responses are due by 12:00 p.m. Eastern on July 12.

NGA in support of the Maritime Safety Office – SFH is seeking information on how an interested contractor could training for an internationally certified Cat B Nautical Cartography Program that is recognized by the International Hydrographic Office (IHOs) Standards of Competence for Nautical Cartographers (S-8) suitable for NGA analysts performing Maritime functions. The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to is to meet international standards, improve maritime products, and expand international credibility.

NGA has a mission-critical need for a comprehensive Cat B Nautical Cartography Program Certified to the IHO Standards of Competence for Nautical Cartographers.
