Navy posts IETS follow-on info

On December 18, the U.S. Navy posted a presolicitation notice for the Intelligence Exploitation and Targeting Systems (IETS) IDIQ follow-on contract.

The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) China Lake intends to procure full and open competition for INTELLIGENCE EXPLOITATION AND TARGETING SYSTEMS (IETS), RDT&E services which will focus on the development and fielding of IETS systems/prototypes related to future systems or the sustainment of deployed systems.

It describes tasking requirements for continued delivery and fielding of IETS that are based upon or derived from the CGS package of software and related hardware components deployed in the DCGS family of Programs by the Army (DCGS-A), the Air Force (DCGS-AF), the Navy (DCGS-N) and the Marines Corps (DCGS-MC) as well as in intelligence training centers operated by each of the Services and operational installations worldwide.

IETS requirements are also applicable to similar systems deployed by NAVAIR Program Manager for Acquisition (PMA) organizations (i.e., Precision Strike Weapons Program Office (PMA-201), Program Manager Air (PMA-265), Strike Planning and Execution Systems (PMA-281) and Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Aircraft (MPRA) program office (PMA-290)) and NGA systems deployed in Combatant Command (CCMD) operations centers and Joint Intelligence or Analysis Centers (JIC/JAC).

The Government anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) under Full and Open Competition for Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) this R&D requirement under NAICS code 541715.
