Naval Air Systems Command posts draft RFP for ISR training and engineering support
On November 2, the Naval Air Systems Command issued a draft RFP for Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) service for Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) training and engineering Contractor Support Services (CSS) worldwide for DoD training events.
This acquisition is a full and open competition that will result in placement of a single award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract. Both completion and term task orders will be issued under this single award task order contract.
This Performance Based Work Statement (PBWS) details Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) PMA-226 requirements for the commercial service of an Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) that closely replicates the characteristics of the environment for current and future threat conditions worldwide as defined in this PBWS. This PBWS describes work necessary to effectively support the Department of Defense (DoD) and United States Coast Guard (USCG) for pre-deployment training for current and future experimental objectives to satisfy the command’s intent.
