Millennium Space Systems appoints Michael Todaro as director of mission operations

Millennium Space Systems of El Segundo, CA announced on November 5 that Mike Todaro has joined Millennium as the Director of Mission Operations.  Todaro brings over 20 years of directly applicable on-orbit mission & related ground operations know-how to bolster and operate the Company’s growing operations portfolio of US Government and commercial platforms.

“Being part of the Millennium Space Team provides me a great opportunity, both personally and professionally, to apply my experience gained from operating an array of government and commercial missions, and working with different ground control & C³ systems, to contribute to Company’s continuing success,” Todaro said.

Todaro’s experience includes operations and logistics assignments while on active duty in the United States Air Force and in private industry on such landmark programs as Global Positioning System (GPS), NASA’s Tracking and Data Relay Satellite System (TDRSS), MILSATCOM, and National Security Space. Mike’s formal training is in Aerospace Engineering and program management.
