Michael Herrington to lead Aretum’s defense sector

On December 8, Aretum announced that Michael Herrington has joined the company as the defense sector lead.

Herrington has more than 25 years of experience developing leading delivery and growth for multiple companies. Prior to Aretum, Herrington was the CEO of Tsymmetry from 2023, a company that supports client missions around the world through solutions and services with a special focus on national security and public safety. Prior to Tsymmetry, Herrington was the division vice president and general manager at Leidos, leading a team of nearly 1,000 professionals for projects in defense, and was responsible for profit and loss of this business unit generating $286M in annual revenue.

Prior to Leidos, Herrington served as senior VP at Michael Baker International, delivering various IT engineering, airfield operations, and other services to all DoD branches and foreign-government customers. At DynCorp, he led all international, foreign military sales and non-FAR based operations and business development in the Middle East/North Africa market space.
