Mercury Systems, a Chelmsford, MA-based commercial provider of secure and sensor processing subsystems powering today’s critical defense and intelligence applications, announced on July 7 that it received $5.9 million in orders from a leading defense prime contractor for digital signal processing modules for a manned airborne multi-mode surveillance radar application.
The orders were booked in the Company’s fiscal 2015 fourth quarter and are expected to be shipped in its fiscal 2016 first quarter.
“Mercury’s decade-long relationship with this prime contractor exemplifies our commitment to extending customer success over the entire life of a defense program and our ability to deliver critically important upgrades years after initial deployments,” said Didier Thibaud, President of Mercury’s Commercial Electronics business unit.
