Mercury Systems receives $3.4M order for secure rackmount servers

Mercury Systems, Inc. of Chelmsford, MA announced on December 12 that it received a $3.4 million order from a leading defense prime contractor for secure rackmount servers for a modeling and simulation application. The order was booked in the Company’s fiscal 2017 second quarter and is expected to be shipped over the next several quarters.

“Mercury’s secure rackmount servers bring proven embedded security features to enterprise-type computing architectures,” said Scott Orton, vice president of Mercury’s Secure Processing Solutions group. “The availability of equivalent security functionality in the rackmount form factor allows our defense customers to apply horizontal protection more broadly. We believe this product will play a key role in providing comprehensive solutions across cybersecurity and information system security engineering domains.”
