MacB expands leadership team
MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB) of Dayton, OH announced on February 8 that it has added two high-performing industry professionals to key leadership positions.
Sigrid Calandra has joined MacB as Vice President, Strategic Capture in the Corporate Business Development and Capture organization, reporting directly to Senior Vice President Don Raines. She is responsible for identifying and developing new opportunities for selected accounts within the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense (DoD). Before joining MacB, Ms. Calandra was the Vice President of Corporate Development at SYNTASA™ and had a distinguished 25-year career with the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) where she held key positions including Analysis Manager, Strategic Planning Officer and Chief, Resources, Programs & Plans. Additionally, Ms. Calandra received the CIA Career Intelligence Medal, awarded for the performance of meritorious service or achievement conspicuously above normal duties, and the Directorate of Intelligence Medal in 2010. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Arizona in 1983, as well as a master’s degree in International Affairs from George Washington University in 1985.
Andy Lagrone, currently Director of Intelligence and Information Operations at MacB, has been promoted to Senior Director of MacB’s San Antonio-based Cyber Intelligence Division (CID), reporting to Dan Gutierrez, MacB’s Vice President of the National Security Group (NSG). In this new role, he is responsible for leading CID in pursuit of Cyber, Information Operations and Intelligence activities across the company. Before joining MacB, Mr. Lagrone, received his commission from the United States Air Force Academy with a degree in Computer Science. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 24 years, retiring in 2007 after a distinguished career as a command pilot, logging more than 3,600 hours in both the T-38 Talon and F-16C Fighting Falcon. Mr. Lagrone also earned a master’s degree in Aviation from Embry–Riddle Aeronautical University.
