MacB acquires Enlighten IT Consulting (EITC)
Enlighten IT Consulting (EITC) of Linthicum, MD announced on January 3 that it has been acquired MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB). EITC will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of MacB with EITC’s CEO, Shawn Justice, reporting to MacB President and CEO, Sid Fuchs.
EITC has created an innovative platform to combat cyber-attacks against the DoD and other US Government organizations. Recognizing that these threats continue to increase the urgency to meet this proliferation, the company sought a strategic partner that will enable EITC to effectively meet these challenges. MacB provides the scale, expertise, infrastructure and customer domain knowledge that will help EITC continue to execute at a high level and meet those challenges at a broader scale.
The combined companies will now be better equipped to fight the battle in cyberspace, the companies said. The collaboration will provide EITC with access to a more diverse customer set in need of cyber security services and solutions where MacB already has a significant footprint. As a result, MacB and EITC will collaborate to deliver a portfolio of cyber security services and tools and its Rapid Analytic Deployment and Management Framework (RADMF) at a larger scale and at a faster pace. The addition of EITC strengthens and expands MacB’s customer set, technical offerings, and thought leadership throughout the federal market space.
“This strategic alignment is exactly what EITC needs to continue to provide quality solutions and execution – but at a much larger scale,” said Shawn Justice, EITC founder and CEO.
Fuchs added, “The addition of EITC to the MacB portfolio will greatly help both companies in building, leading, and implementing world-class cloud, data analytics, agile development, and cyber solutions across a broad range of customers in the US Government. We are honored to have them on the team and look forward to a productive and results-oriented partnership.”
