MacAulay-Brown, Inc. strengthens its senior leadership team
MacAulay-Brown, Inc., a Dayton, OH-based national security company delivering advanced engineering services and product solutions to defense, intelligence, special operations forces, homeland security and federal agencies, announced on February 17 that it has made two key promotions to strengthen the company’s senior leadership team and further position it for continued growth.
Mike Ritter has been promoted to Vice President and Chief Security Officer and will report directly to Sid Fuchs, President and CEO of MacB. Ritter previously served MacB as its Chief Security Officer. He will continue to lead all security-related operations and play a larger role in helping the company meet its strategic business objectives.
Bernie Murtaugh has been promoted to Vice President of Proposals and will lead the coordination and production of all new business proposals. In addition he will provide his expertise and counsel as MacB enters new markets to ensure the company’s high standards continue to be met. Murtaugh was formerly Senior Director of Proposals and will report to Don Raines, MacB’s Senior Vice President of Corporate Business Development.

About Mike Ritter
Prior to joining MacB in 2011, Ritter worked for SAIC where he achieved nine consecutive “Superior” ratings from the Defense Security Service (DSS). While at SAIC, he was a member of the team that was awarded DSS’s James S. Cogswell Award, which represents the top .1 percent of Industrial Security Programs. Ritter is a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Washburn University.

Murtaugh is an expert in proposal development and management with more than 20 years experience in the field. Before joining MacB in 2005, he held senior level proposal management positions and MTC Technologies and The Standard Register Company. Murtaugh earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Western Illinois University.
