LMI names Brian Fitzpatrick business development SVP
On January 24, LMI announced that Brian Fitzpatrick will serve as the company’s senior vice president of business development at its Tysons, VA location. Fitzpatrick joins LMI after an established career in several executive business development roles at companies including DXC Technology (formerly CSC), American Systems, Harris Corp., Northrop Grumman, and Ericsson Inc. Early in his career, Fitzpatrick was a journalist in New York and chief of staff for a member of Congress.
“LMI’s mission to improve the management of government made my choice to join the company an easy one,” said Fitzpatrick. “I’m thrilled to start this new journey and lead LMI’s business development efforts from start to finish.”
Fitzpatrick’s notable reputation in strategic growth in the commercial and government sectors proves him a capable leader in capture management and business development. He has vast experience in leading proposals and teaming efforts to execute new organizational business opportunities.
“As our client base continues to expand, we are focusing on larger, long-term opportunities to bolster our ability to serve government,” said David Zolet, LMI’s president and CEO. “Brian is the right person to lead LMI’s efforts in expanding our reach.”
Fitzpatrick earned his bachelor’s degree in journalism and communications from St. Bonaventure University. He holds Six Sigma Green Belt and Spartan Selling certifications and completed leadership programs at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
