LGS Innovations appoints Jeff Beck EVP-CFO

LGS Innovations of Herndon, VA announced on March 20 that it has appointed Jeff Beck as executive vice president and chief financial officer. Beck’s appointment follows the retirement of EVP-CFO John Fitzgerald.

In his new role, Beck establishes and monitors LGS financial objectives in support of the company’s strategic initiatives. He is responsible for the company’s business management, including the controller, treasury, and pricing and supply chain functions. Beck also oversees financial planning, risk analysis and management, tax filings, real estate asset and investment management, and policy and strategy development.

Beck has over thirty years of government contracting related experience, including more than twenty years in a chief financial officer role. Prior to joining LGS, Beck served as the CFO for DRS Technologies, Inc.’s C4ISR Group, the division of DRS that produces a wide variety of tactical communications and ISR solutions for the Department of Defense. Beck has also held CFO and related finance management positions with QinetiQ North America, STG Inc., Getronics Government Solutions, Raytheon, and Lockheed Martin.

A Pittsburgh native, Beck earned a BS in accounting from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Loyola College, and is also a certified public accountant.
