Kratos part of winning CALNET team for SSC PAC contract
Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. of San Diego, CA announced on August 17 that prime contract holder CALNET Inc. was recently awarded the Engineering and Support Services for Network and Information Systems Technology Programs IDIQ Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) contract with the Networks Division (Code 55100) at Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Pacific (SSC Pacific). The five-year multiple award contract has a total value of over $33 million if all options are exercised.
Kratos will provide technical support services for afloat, ashore, and airborne networks and information systems. Support will include assessing network requirements; designing system architecture; network modeling, simulation, and testing; network technology and prototype development; network security; information assurance and certification of networks; and network management.
Tim Harmon, vice president for Kratos’ Military Services business, said, “This new opportunity allows Kratos to demonstrate our abilities in network design and management and expand our presence at SSC PAC. Kratos is committed to bringing high quality, value added service to our Government customers and improving afloat, ashore and airborne network reliability and performance.”
