INSCOM seeks archive digitization services
On May 13, the Army Contracting Command-Intelligence and Security Command (ACC-INSCOM) posted a request for information (RFI) for Army Archive Documentation Digitization Service. Responses are due by 1:00 p.m. Eastern on May 24.
The purpose of this RFI is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of various members of industry, specifically the Small Business Community: Small Business, Section 8(a) and Alaskan Native Corporation Owned Firms. The Government must ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of responsible contractors. Small business, Section 8(a) and Alaskan Native Corporation Owned businesses are highly encouraged to participate.
INSCOM executes mission command of operational intelligence and security forces; conducts and synchronizes worldwide multi-discipline and all-source intelligence and security operations; delivers linguist support and intelligence-related advanced skills training, acquisition support, logistics, communications, and other specialized capabilities in support of Army, Joint, and Coalition Commands and the U.S. Intelligence Community.
The purpose of this effort is to provide INSCOM with a full-scale digitization program of their Records Center and Archives.
