Air Force posts RFI for portable interrogator

On May 14, the U.S. Air Force posted a request for information (RFI) for a Portable Interrogator Combat Survivor Evader Locator Solution. Responses are due by 12:00 p.m. Eastern on June 11.

The U.S. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance & Special Operations Forces (ISR & SOF) Directorate, Special Warfare (SW) Program Office (AFLCMC/WISN) is conducting market research to identify possible sources capable of providing a man portable Recovery team Tactical Interrogator Combat Survivor Evader Locator (R-TIC CSEL) which will allow personnel in aircraft or part of ground units to perform terminal area communications between rescue forces and the isolated personnel (IP) who are using the current Combat Survivor Evader Locator (CSEL) or the CSEL Next Generation Survival Radio (NGSR) hand held radio.
