Illinois Army National Guard seeks OSINT training

On August 14, the Illinois Army National Guard posted a request for information for open source intelligence training (Solicitation Number: W91SMC-17-Q-3001). Responses are due no later than 5:00 p.m. CT on August 21.

The Illinois National Guard Counterdrug Task Force (Counterdrug) is issuing a sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify potential sources of Open Source Intelligence Training. At a minimum, the contractor will need to be able to provide the following training:

1. Open Source Intelligence Training (OSINT) to include all personnel and materials necessary to perform the training. The training will teach methodologies, comprehensive skills, and techniques that will enhance Criminal Analysts ability to use open sources to complete the Counterdrug’s mission. The training will result in a certificate.

2. Social Media Intelligence Training (SOCMINT) to include all personnel and materials necessary to perform the training. The training will teach methodologies, comprehensive skills, and techniques that will enhance Criminal Analysts ability to use open sources to complete the Counterdrug’s mission. The training will result in a certificate.
