ID Technologies announces strategic partnership with Forcepoint

ID Technologies of Ashburn, VA announced on October 2 a new partnership with Austin, TX-based Forcepoint. Through the partnership, ID Technologies and Forcepoint will provide solutions that support the unique and complex missions of customers across the U.S. Defense, Intelligence and federal civilian communities.

ID Technologies will expand Forcepoint’s federal market presence, with a particular emphasis on three proprietary security solutions: Secure Enterprise SD-WAN, Cross Domain, and Insider Threat. The SD-WAN solution combines the latest in software-defined, wide-area networking with the industry’s top rated, next-generation firewall security. Cross Domain allows customers to securely access and transfer networks, data and files at speeds previously unimagined. In turn, customers are able to collaborate when and where they need to, without onerous logistical barriers. Lastly, Insider Threat is used to prevent malicious insider access to an organization’s IT system.

“Our partnership with Forcepoint is a synergistic expansion of our company mission,” said Chris Oliver, president of ID Technologies. “Forcepoint’s dedication to securing and simplifying the intersection between technology, data and human beings aligns perfectly with our mission to make it simpler for our customers to buy and use IT that is fit for their purpose. The security products Forcepoint offers will allow us to create next-generation solutions that meet both the time-to-value and security needs of our clients.”

“Together, ID Technologies and Forcepoint will deliver proactive, defense-grade cybersecurity solutions that demonstrate a fundamental understanding of agency missions and deliver optimal time-to-value,” said Matt Peeples, vice president of strategic alliances for global governments and critical infrastructure at Forcepoint. “Today, federal agencies are experiencing an intense sense of urgency for digital transformation that must be managed within a rapidly shifting threat landscape. Forcepoint, working with strategic partners such as ID Technologies, can help fortify agencies’ cyber defense strategies with risk-adaptive data protection and cloud and network segmentation solutions built to address nation-state advanced persistent threats facing the federal government today.”
