HPE announces Archana Deskus as new global CIO
In an October 26 blog post, Antonio Neri, president of Hewlett Packard Enterprise, announced the company’s new global chief information officer.
Over the past several months, HPE has communicated a lot about HPE Next, a company-wide initiative that will architect a purpose-built company designed to compete and win in the markets where we participate. A key part of this program is a set of critical investments towards driving innovation, enhancing our go-to-market, and improving our business processes. And a key enabler of all of this will be our investments in IT.
To drive our IT strategy, I’m very pleased to announce Archana “Archie” Deskus as our new Global Chief Information Officer (CIO), reporting to me. Archie has a depth of knowledge about how best to leverage technology to drive business value. For the past four years, Archie was CIO at Baker Hughes where she transformed their IT organization into a strategic business partner, while delivering operational performance and business value. Prior to Baker Hughes, she held CIO roles at Ingersoll-Rand, Timex Corporation, and United Technologies Corporation.
I am thrilled to have Archie join the team and I know she will play an important role in the success of the new HPE.
