Harris awarded $96 million IDIQ contract to supply precision approach radars to US Navy, Air Force and Army
Harris Corporation has received an eight-year, $96 million ceiling, single-award IDIQ contract from the U.S. Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) to supply precision approach radars (PAR) to the U.S. Navy, Air Force and Army, the Melbourne, FL-based company announced May 17. The contract was awarded during the fourth quarter of Harris’ fiscal 2016.
Under the contract, Harris will supply high-performance PAR systems to help the three services upgrade their precision approach and military air traffic management capabilities.
