GSA posts ISR operations RFI
On August 5, the General Services Administration releases a sources sought notice for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance operations (Solicitation Number: GSC-QFOB-16-33056). Responses are due August 12, according to FedBizOpps.
On behalf of the DoD/COCOM/SOUTHCOM, the General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Systems Integration Management (FEDSIM) is releasing this Request for Information (RFI) to determine if any Government contract vehicles can fulfill an upcoming ISR services procurement.
The mission requirement is for Electro-Optical / Infrared (EO/IR), Mini-SAR and Geo-Location systems that will facilitate real-time or near-real-time intelligence collection and surveillance of illicit activity. The systems are used for surveillance, reconnaissance, target identification, imagery collection and communication intercepts.
This notice is issued solely for market research to support further planning by SOUTHCOM, and does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a commitment on the part of the Government to conduct a solicitation for the below-listed support in the future. The Government reserves the right to invite select respondents to meet and/or to provide further descriptions of their capabilities.
