Engility wins prime position on potential $5 billion cyber security and information systems IDIQ
Engility Holdings, Inc., based in Chantilly, VA, announced on December 3 that it has been awarded a prime position on the U.S. Air Force’s $5 billion cyber security and information systems support multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract.
Under the five-year program, Engility will provide research, development, and test and evaluation within the areas of cyber security, software analysis, information assurance, knowledge management and information sharing, and modeling and simulation.
“We look forward to the opportunity to further serve and support the Defense Department’s cyber market space,” said Engility President and CEO Tony Smeraglinolo. “This award will allow Engility to further leverage its cyber security capabilities and deepen our penetration into this critical market.”
This award represents new work for Engility and contract types will vary depending upon each task order.
