Edgewater acquires RedLine Performance Solutions

On October 5, Edgewater Federal Solutions announced the acquisition of RedLine Performance Solutions, a provider of high-performance computing (HPC) and complex computing environments supporting scientific research, engineering, and innovation. Edgewater’s expertise in enterprise modernization and mission technology, combined with RedLine’s decades of experience designing, deploying, and optimizing high-performance computing environments, creates a stronger platform to support critical infrastructure and the federal government’s most demanding technology requirements.

The combined company brings complementary strengths spanning enterprise modernization, cloud, cybersecurity, software engineering, scientific computing, and HPC, enabling agencies to address increasingly complex mission requirements through a single trusted partner.

“This is a transformational step for Edgewater,” said Tom Ferrando, chief executive officer of Edgewater. “The addition of RedLine strengthens our ability to help customers navigate the convergence of data center modernization, cloud, cybersecurity, software engineering, AI, and HPC while delivering the technologies required to address evolving mission challenges. Together, we’re building a company that can design, deploy, operate, and optimize the systems that support the nation’s critical infrastructure.”

“Joining Edgewater enables us to pair decades of leadership in HPC and scientific computing with the scale and resources needed to deliver end-to-end solutions,” said Carolyn Pasti, chief executive officer of RedLine Performance Solutions. “This is a natural evolution for our company and an exciting opportunity for our employees, customers, and the missions we support.”
