ECS names Ryan Garner as CFO
On January 25, Fairfax, VA-based ECS announced that it has named Ryan Garner its new chief financial officer (CFO). As a member of the executive leadership team, Garner will play a strategic role in the overall growth and management of the company and work closely with ECS’ president. He will oversee all accounting and finance operations, contracts, legal, pricing, procurement functions, financial planning and analysis, facilities management, and compliance activities, the company said.
“I’m excited for Ryan to join our leadership team,” said John Heneghan, president of ECS. “Ryan has a proven track record of driving growth and creating efficiency. His industry expertise and strong leadership capabilities will be instrumental in supporting ECS’ ongoing growth strategy, helping us scale our operations and expand our services to our customers.”
Garner joins ECS from Navistar Defense, LLC ― a designer and builder of tactical wheeled vehicles for government and Department of Defense customers — where he served as CFO. Before Navistar, Garner was the CFO for CACI International Inc’s National Security and Innovative Solutions sector.
“I’m thrilled to join ECS and have the opportunity to work with John and the rest of the leadership team,” said Garner. “ECS maintains a differentiated position of strength in the government marketplace, and, together, our team is poised to accelerate growth and value creation for our customers.”
