On October 27, Dragos Public Sector LLC (DPS), the federal business subsidiary of Dragos, Inc., named a board of directors that includes Rob Joyce, former Director of Cybersecurity at the National Security Agency, and Lieutenant General (Ret.) Maria Barrett, former Commanding General of U.S. Army Cyber Command, as part of a series of milestones that strengthen its ability to protect the extended operational technology (xOT) environment that public sector civilian and defense missions depend on.
DPS also confirmed Daniel Dorchinsky, who has led the subsidiary’s growth for more than three years, as general manager. Following Dragos’s acquisitions of NetRise and runZero, DPS now offers federal agencies exposure management, software supply chain security, and device remediation to defend the full xOT environment, which spans connected devices, networks, cloud, software supply chain, and the operational core. DPS also named Accenture Federal Services as a strategic go-to-market partner.
“Federal xOT environments cannot be secured by tools adapted from IT, and their needs can’t be met by a vendor that treats government as an afterthought,” said Dorchinsky. “DPS exists so that agencies have a partner whose entire focus is the systems that keep bases running, water flowing, and facilities operating. Today’s announcements give us an even stronger technology platform, a governance structure built for the requirements of federal work, and a go-to-market partner with decades of trusted relationships across government.”
DPS announced the following slate of directors:
