DLA is conducting market research on C4ISR Tailored Logistics Support
On August 19, the Defense Logistics Agency posted the following market research request for C4ISR Tailored Logistics Support. Responses are requested by September 10.
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support- Philadelphia is conducting market research for a Tailored Logistic Support (TLS) initiative for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (C4ISR), and related supplies. This acquisition targets commercial supply chain support for a wide variety of products in the information technology and electronics industry to meet customer’s needs in C4ISR. In addition, the C4ISR TLS vendors will provide the full range of logistics functions, including shipping, storage, inventory management, and transportation visibility to achieve a solution for DLA customers.
The following list provides a representation of the categories and subcategories of product that shall be made available. The categories and subcategories listed are NOT all inclusive, but provide a representation of the various types of products that the Government anticipates supplying under this contract. Productsinclude all peripherals, ancillary equipment, accessories, attachments and software that are managed or authorized for procurement by DLA. The scope includes, but is not limited to:
Ø Computers (including desktop computers, laptop/portable/notebook computers, tablets, thin clients, and servers)
Ø IT Input and Output (including mice, keyboards, remotes, digital pens, and DVD players)
Ø Software (including operating systems, antivirus, Adobe, Microsoft Office, and browsers) * excludes specialized internal use software or software that can be considered a capital investment and excludescommercial software and related services as a stand-alone product if the DoD Enterprise Software Initiative (ESI) is applicable.
Ø Portable Work Stations (including docking stations, laptop locks, power supplies, Ethernet cable, and portable speakers)
Ø Storage Devices (including thumb drives, external hard drives, compact discs, tape drives, and memory cards)
Ø Storage Cases (including laptop carrying cases, compact disc cases, memory card cases, camera carrying cases, and cell phone cases)
Ø Communications Equipment (including modems, routers, terminals, receivers, and transmitters)
Ø Data management devices (including splicers, splitters, hubs, converters, and repeaters)
Ø Biometrics equipment (including fingerprint recognition, hand recognition, optical recognition, facial recognition, and voice recognition)
Ø Displays (including 21″ in desktop monitors, 42″ in televisions, hardened monitors, touch screens, and vehicle mounted displays)
Ø Subassemblies, boards (including motherboards, interface controllers, video controllers, sound controllers, and network controllers)
Ø Printers, Faxes, Scanners, Copiers (including color scanners, color printers, laser printers, high volume copiers, and 3D printers)
Ø Cameras and Projection Equipment (including digital cameras, SLR (single lens reflex) cameras, web cams, overhead projectors, and handheld projectors)
Ø Photographic Supplies and Equipment (including lenses, lighting, backdrop, flash, and filters)
Ø Telephones and equipment (including standard office phones, secure phones, cell phones, field phones, and phone wire)
Ø Radio, Video, and Sound Recording and Reproducing Equipment (including digital mixers, microphones, video cameras, video camera stands, and speakers)
Ø Navigation Equipment (including hand-held GPS, vehicle mounted GPS, marine GPS, compass, and navigation calculators)
Ø Communication Security and Countermeasure Equipment (crypto equipment, crypto ancillary equipment, crypto production equipment, authentication equipment, and jamming equipment)
Ø Intercommunication Systems (including master stations, remote stations, chime modules, speakers, and frames)
Ø Public Address Systems (including infrared microphones, wireless microphones, handheld microphones, amplifiers, and speakers)
Ø Accouterments (including installation kits, accessory kits, replacement parts, cleaning kits, cords, and power supplies for any of the above)
Ø Incidental services (including installation, training, repair, modification, and customer support for any of the above products)* excludes any requirement that would require vendor access to Government networks.
