DISA releases business intelligence RFP
On August 4, the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) issued a request for proposal for business intelligence lifecycle support services (HC102817R0121). Proposals are due no later than 10:00 a.m. ET on August 21.
The SCES Program has a follow-on requirement for providing Business Intelligence (BI) lifecycle support services for the SCES Data Management and Reporting Solution (DMRS). DMRS is a major system component of SCES that provides data warehousing to manage and maintain historical Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case-related data.
BI utilizes a variety of data sources, including the DMRS and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, to provide end-users with reports, dashboards, and other decision support capabilities used in support of FMS business processes. This PWS addresses the analysis, design, development, and testing of new and existing business intelligence features resulting from approved change requests requested by the SCES stakeholder community as well as the sustainment of the DMRS functionality.
The Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) is a Department of Defense (DoD) agency reporting to the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy and has responsibility for directing, administering and providing policy guidance for the execution of security cooperation programs. One type of security cooperation program, FMS, involves the transfer of defense articles and services, and is an integral and growing component of U.S. national security and foreign policy.
This acquisition is a tri-service effort that will extend and enhance the initial capability to provide additional FMS case support to the Navy, as well as incorporating additional functional and technical capabilities required to extend the deployment to the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force.
