DIA prepares to release DoD mentor protege program solicitation
On July 5, the Virginia Contracting Activity, on behalf of the Defense Intelligence Agency, released the Department of Defense (DoD) Mentor Protégé Program (MPP) Synopsis.
The Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), through the Virginia Contracting Activity, anticipates the release of a Department of Defense (DoD) Mentor Protégé Program (MPP) solicitation in accordance with DFARS Appendix I. Mentors shall identify a Protégé and submit a proposal in accordance with the solicitation instructions to be released in electronic format only via fbo.gov on or about July 20, 2017. The proposal due date will be specified in the solicitation when it is issued. No additional media (CD-ROM, faxes, etc.) will be provided. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. Other methods of requesting a package will not be honored. Anticipated award date for this program is September 23, 2017.
Mentors are required to be approved through the DoD Office of Small Business Programs.
Multiple contracts will be awarded up to the total budget. Proposal costs shall not exceed $400k per year with a total period of performance not to exceed three years.
