DIA posts network-centric warfare training sources sought
On July 6, the Defense Intelligence Agency posted a sources sought notice for Network Centric Warfare training. Responses are due by 1:00 p.m. Eastern on July 20.
The objective of this SOW is to provide training on the principles of modem Network Centric Warfare (NCW) to members of the DIA/MSIC workforce. The winning contractor will be responsible to provide a training course covering the concepts of Network Centric Warfare appropriate for an engineering audience, totaling at least 20 hours of instruction for up to 25 students. The training must be given over three to five consecutive days.
The contractor shall, as coordinated with the government KO/COR, provide a training course covering the concepts of Network Centric Warfare appropriate for an engineering audience, totaling at least 20 hours of instruction for up to 25 students. The training must cover the following subjects:
- The general concepts and principles of NCW.
- NCW-based tactics, technologies, and systems.
- Principles of command and control as it applies to NCW.
- Artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts as they apply to NCW.
- Cyber security and vulnerability concerns within NCW frameworks.
The focus of the class must not be about the US DoD’s implementation of NCW or the systems in place among the DoD services, and instead should focus on the general concepts of NCW that can be applied globally. Illustrative examples using the US implementations are acceptable.
