DIA posts Foreign Language VR/AR Solutions sources sought

On June 20, the Virginia Contracting Activity, on behalf of the Defense Intelligence Agency, posted a sources sought notice for Foreign Language Virtual Augmented Reality Solutions (Solicitation Number: HHM402FY18SourcesSought). Responses are due by 12:30 p.m. Eastern on June 27.

The Defense Intelligence Agency has a requirement to provide foreign language training to all employees with demonstrated skills in a foreign language. DIA is interested in implementing virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) for foreign language training to enable DIA participants to enter a virtual environment (VE) and utilize their language skills in a manner similar to the experience of participating in an overseas immersion.

This notice is a Market Research tool being used to determine the availability and capability of potential 8(a) sources prior to determining a final procurement strategy. No basis for a claim against the Government shall result from a response to this notice. If a solicitation is issued as a result of this Sources Sought, information submitted in response to this notice may be used to determine the appropriate strategy. All qualified 8(a) firms are encouraged to respond.
