DIA issues RFP for DLS support

On June 30, the Virginia Contracting Activity, on behalf of the Defense Intelligence Agency, issued the solicitation for Defense Language Services (DLS) support (HHM402-17-R-0092). Proposals are due no later than 10:00am ET on July 31.
The Virginia Contracting Activity (VaCA) in support of Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), has a requirement to procure DIA Language Services (DLS) support. Currently, the existing and planned DLS support provides translating written, electronic and multi-media material to and from English and a target language, interpreting oral communication to and from English and a Target Language, editing, database administration, and providing operations support, including management of all contractor personnel and related functions.
Period of Performance: The period of performance of the contract is anticipated to be a one (1) year base period plus four (4) one (1) year option periods. Vendors will also need to propose for an optional six-month extension of services. Place of Performance: Work will be at the Government’s facility in the National Capitol Region.
