DHS is looking for business intelligence and data analytics software applications
On January 12, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) issued the following sources sought notice (solicitation number ESDORFI11215). Interested firms must respond by 5:00pm on January 23, 2015.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has a continuing need to perform data and decision analytics on internal Management data to provide to DHS Leadership to facilitate decision making capabilities and improve prioritization and alignment of investment resources to the Department’s Missions, Goals and Objectives.
In support of this effort, DHS OCIO, Enterprise System’s Development Office (ESDO) is seeking information from industry regarding the potential for an enterprise business intelligence application and to obtain specifics on capabilities currently available. This RFI requests industry to provide information on approaches, best practices, and technologies for accomplishing business intelligence analytics.
We are requesting industry to provide a written Statement of Capability to this RFI that addresses the extent to which the requirements identified above can be met, and includes an explanation of the commercial software licensing approach, if applicable, that minimizes license management costs and leverages COTS products availability under DHS enterprise license vehicles.
