DCSA seeks AI tools to support contracting processes

On March 15, the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) posted a request for information (RFI) for Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tools for Contracting and Procurement Processes.

This request is solely for the purpose of conducting market research and gathering information to enhance the DCSA Contracting and Procurement Office’s (CPO) understanding of commercial AI tools and capabilities in the marketplace, which are designed to assist federal contracting and procurement processes at any acquisition phase.

The overall goal of this RFI is to understand how AI is being used across the entirety of the federal government for federal contracting and procurement with the intended focus of adding benefit to the Federal government by simplifying, standardizing, and automating processes that meet existing challenges and inefficiencies.

This RFI will be used to identify industry partners that are interested in, and capable of, providing ideas or innovative solutions using commercial technology through or while leveraging AI capabilities to aid in the federal contracting and procurement processes, contract administration, and/or contract management for the DCSA’s CPO.

Review the DCSA RFI.
