Cubic names Tammy Breene Chief Learning Officer of Mission Support Services

Tammy Breene 112Mission Support Services, a business segment of San Diego, CA-based Cubic Corporation, announced on January 7 that Tammy Breene has been named Mission Support Services’ chief learning officer, reporting to Bill Toti, president of Mission Support Services. Breene is responsible for helping customers develop, integrate and deploy leading-edge training solutions, using the latest techniques in neuroscience, gaming technology and adaptive learning methods to improve the effectiveness of learning protocols.

“Tammy’s successful record of developing winning solutions in support of the Intelligence Community (IC) clearly demonstrates her impressive leadership qualities,” said Toti. “Her keen understanding and appreciation of learning and skills development to support business growth is essential to meeting the dynamic needs of our customers.”

Breene comes to Cubic with more than 20 years of experience as a consultant for government organizations, where she led training programs, managed teams, developed competencies, and provided leaders with strategic direction in learning, workforce issues and business.

Most recently, Breene was a technical director at BAE Systems, Inc., where she served as the training and certification lead for a large government program, and conducted business development for large-scale classified government programs. She also served as a senior associate with Booz Allen Hamilton, where she led the learning business for the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and other government agencies. During her tenure with Booz Allen, she was the senior human capital and training officer for the National Counter Proliferation Center (NCPC), where she completed an IC study to assess the nuclear, chemical, biological, and missile labor force and developed the IC-wide technical competencies for counter proliferation. She also supported the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC) watch listing and threat finance training, and assisted the National Reconnaissance Office with various mission-critical programs in launch and program lifecycle security.

Breene earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and English from Monmouth University and a Master of Arts in Human Resource Development from Marymount University.

Mission Support Services provides specialized services and solutions for the U.S. Department of Defense, Joint community, all U.S. military services, the Department of Homeland Security, selected allied nations, and other government and non-government customers.
