Cubic awarded RDT&E contract to support Data Link Enterprise
Cubic Corporation of San Diego, CA announced on March 29 that its Cubic Mission Solutions (CMS) business segment was one of nine contractors awarded an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) multiple award contract with a $496 million ceiling from the U.S. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s Space, Aerial and Nuclear Networks Division.
The Data Link Enterprise (DLE) contract focuses on research, development, test and evaluation efforts to bring innovative and affordable solutions for existing and emerging communication architectures. It will provide the flexibility to accommodate Command and Control data and myriad types of Signals Intelligence, Geospatial Intelligence and Full-Motion Video data as well as information capture to support tactical platforms and time-sensitive applications for the DLE community.

Research, development, test and evaluation efforts will be awarded as distinct delivery orders. The contract period of performance is 5 years with 5 option years.
