Comtech EF Data expands market focus with appointment of senior vice presidents for vertical markets
Comtech EF Data Corp. of Tempe, AZ announced on August 4 the expansion of its vertical market focus with the creation of new executive roles. The organizational structure along key verticals was set in motion with the appointment of Richard Swardh last year for the mobile network operator (MNO) market. The structure now encompasses additional verticals – government and premium enterprise.
Richard Swardh will hold the role of senior vice president, MNO. Jeff Harig has been named senior vice president, government systems and Steve Good was named senior vice president, premium enterprise. Each will lead the market development and direction for their respective vertical markets. By leveraging market insight, they will direct long-term strategic initiatives and define the required solution suite and feature sets for their verticals.
“Our business has evolved into clear vertical markets with specific requirements,” commented John Branscum, president of Comtech EF Data Corp. “We are enhancing our organization with internal business verticals to better address the market-specific requirements for satellite communication infrastructure solutions. We expect to realize improved responsiveness to our customers’ needs by developing more focused solutions and to more effectively support our channel partners in serving their end users and improving their bottom lines.”
